 Q:  I do not have dental insurance and need treatment.  Can you refer me to a clinic where I can  receive treatment?
 A: The Delta Dental of Kansas Foundation does not make referrals and does not operate any  dental clinics. The Foundation does support charitable dental clinics that provide treatment either free of charge or at a reduced rate. Click here for a list of dental hub/spoke and safety net clinics.
 Q:  What are your grant criteria and how can I apply for a grant?
 A: Visit the Grant Programs section of our website for more information on our grants.
 
 Q:  If my organization is located outside of Kansas are we eligible for grants?
 A:  Organizations requesting grants must have a physical presence in the state of Kansas to be considered for funding.
 Q: What types of projects does the DDKS Foundation fund?
   A:
  • Dental Supplies
  • Dental Equipment
  • Dental Educational Materials
  • Oral Health Related Scholarships
  • Xylitol Wafters
  • Fluoride Varnish
 
  Q: What types of projects does the DDKS Foundation NOT fund?
   A:
  • Administrative costs, including salaries
  • Projects outside the state of Kansas
  • Lobbying
  • Political organizations or political campaigns
  • Ongoing general operating expenses or existing deficits
  • Projects not related to oral health
  • Fundraising events
  • Individual treatment costs
 
 Q: How many grant cycles per year does the DDKS Foundation have?
 A: Generally, one Community Dental Health Grant cycle and one Toothbrush Kit Grant Cycle.
