Community Health Grants

2014 Grant Application & Guidelines

Community-based oral health programs in Kansas are encouraged to apply for grants up to $150,000 for programs designed to improve oral health. Special consideration will be given to  those applicants whose programs focus on improving the oral health of low-income children and senior citizens; however, all grant submissions will be considered.

Community Dental Health Grants will be provided for new initiatives, new components of existing programs, start-up funding or one-time events that will include one or more of the following Foundation grant criteria:

  • Prevention & education
  • Significant and/or large impact
  • Sustainable, innovative solutions

2014 Grant Deadlines have expired. Delta Dental of Kansas will announce 2015 grant opportunities in the second quarter of 2015.

2013 Grant Recipients

The 2013 grant program was able to provide more than a half million dollars in funding to support health organizations and their valuable programs. The organizations used the grant dollars to distribute oral health information and/or provided services to Kansans across the state.
